 Worldly women wonder where my secret lies
My positive outlook they covet and yet despise
And when I start to tell them
They think I'm telling lies.
I say,
It's in the reach of my prayer
The span of my faith
The stride of my path
The God who lights my way
I'm a woman
Spiritually
Apostolic Woman
That's me.

I walk into a room
Just as cool as you please
My mind at peace

My heart at ease

If I’ve had a bad day
 I work it out on my knees
I say,
It's the Holy Ghost fire
The Anointing so quick
The strength of my praise
And the dance in my jig.
I'm a woman
Spiritually
Apostolic Woman
That's me.

Men have always known
What they see in me
”Good women are found in church
It’s the place to be”

But without God they can’t know
My inner mystery.
I let them know:
”Get saved or it just can’t be.”
I say,
It's in the salvation of my soul
The grace in my life
You need it too
Before I can be your wife.
I'm a woman
Spiritually
Apostolic Woman
That's me

Now you understand
Why my head's not bowed
Why I stand tall and strong
And don’t need to talk real loud
When you see me passing
It ought to make you proud.
I say, It's in the flow of my skirt
The hat that I wear
The testimony I give
God’s love that I share.
