The mission of the church is to reach the souls in our community and who are connected to each members life, for them to receive full salvation; as well as prepare the souls who are Spirit filled to walk in victory and to disciple other non believers. This is done through the preached Word, bible instruction classes, and auxiliary based men’s, women’s, and youth groups to meet the spiritual, emotional, and social needs of the membership.

 PASTOR & FIRST LADY MICHAEL

Her Advice For Married Women:

I emphatically support and encourage scriptural teaching as it relates to women loving their husbands and children, caring for their home, and nurturing their families. However through my experiences and epiphanies, it is vital for married woman to 1.identifyand maintain their own identity, purpose, and destiny 2. Search for and learn the delicate balance between maintaining these things, while continuing to be a helpmate for your spouse and in supporting his vision. 3. Learn how to manage financial and business affairs both with your spouse, and alone in case of any unforeseen circumstances. 4. Understand in raising children you do not own them, however are you are instructed to manage their lives to raise responsible, independent adults, who will fly and thrive when the string of dependency is cut.

Her Advice For Single Women:

Seek fulfillment in Christ and healthy, balanced satisfaction of self and accomplishments, and the knowledge that men are not needed for your self-fulfillment, but rather to share in the joy of the completed you that is being made through Christ, who is making you whole, directing your life, and ordering your steps. I don’t believe in women looking to anyone to deliver them out of discomfort, inadequacy, or imperfection, be assured that is the role of the Holy Spirit. I don’t look at the joining of marriage as two halves being made into a whole, but rather two wholes being enmeshed and made into one.

Her Advice For Widowed/Divorced/Separated Women:

Much of what has been said for the Single woman is applicable for you also. Even though I have never experienced these things personally, my work with people has taught me some things. The most difficult thing I would imagine, is having once been joined with, in companionship with a male partner, and now being faced with loss. You may have to learn how to conquer loneliness, re-direct your life’s focus, and not become bitter but better through the sweetness and salve of the Savior.

Her Advice For Children and Teens:

Oh how important it is to enjoy life RESPONSIBLY! You should be trained almost soldier- like, to become excellent in the gifts and talents God has imbedded in you before you were in your mother’s stomach. In is also important to value God more than any worldly possession, earthly person, or intense dream to be fulfilled. In valuing Him it must be seen and measured in the quality of your relationship with Him. I was able to reach goals and withstand my most difficult times because Jesus and I have a love affair and I trust Him with my most prize possession- My Life!

Her Personal Testimony and Spiritual Goals:

After being stricken with polycystic kidney disease I lost function of both kidneys and had to begin dialysis at 30 years old. This was not a welcomed diagnosis or treatment, and proved to be tedious and life changing for almost 5 years. But praises be to God, it is this very disease that has helped shape my focus, has been the catalyst for my personal victory as well as my personal ministry. It has directed my destiny, and brought me to the fulfillment of working in my purpose. So wonderfully has God not only turned my pain into power, but also showed me that what the devil meant for bad, God meant for my good. So beautifully has God allowed my husband to lay his life on the line for me, to love me as Christ loved the Church. On February 13th,Valentine’s Day eve, the doctors from a New York hospital took a kidney out of my husband’s body, placed it in my body, and it began working immediately. Praises and worship be to the God of miracles, wisdom, and perfection!!!

After receiving the kidney, God over time revealed that my difficult valley experience was designed to perfect His ever developing and unfolding will in my life. Immediately after receiving the kidney, my intellect was sharpened and my scope was broadened. Within months I returned to school and within 3years I obtained my Masters in Social Work degree, counseling and encouraging the very patients whose plight I, not too long before, was sharing - dialysis patients. I wrote songs while I was sick and God allowed me to place the songs on CD, to produce concerts where dialysis patients could come and be ministered to for free, and to begin a health education and disease prevention component of ministry, all to do one thing – bring glory to God! With every breath in my body, I will fulfill God’s commission on my life - to spread my testimony throughout the world!

If I had to summarize my personal spiritual goals it would be to work toward perfecting the balance of relationship with my husband and children, and caring for them superbly with the awesome ministry God has entrusted to me, while maintaining connection with the saints and souls God has entrusted to us both for their spiritual maturing and care. Walking in and understanding that the glue to fulfill this is based on an incredible love connection that I have with Jesus which teaches me, under girds me, and empowers me to do His will. Am I perfect? - NO WAY, but do I love Jesus and know He unconditionally loves me? - ABSOLUTELY!
